Daniel joined Tilya in April, 2023. After receiving a master’s degree in urban studies and planning, Daniel worked in the field of humanitarian aid for years managing programs in various contexts from natural disasters to human conflict. Since 2019, he has been working in an organic vineyard and wine production in Italy’s Chianti region. Daniel’s current interest is on exploring methods of rehabilitation of degraded soil and desertifying land, an increasingly global problem contributed to by modern agricultural production methods, particularly in Turkiye where 76% of land is experiencing mineral deficiencies.
